Baseball State Playoffs - Our baseball team playing in the first round of the 3A State Playoffs right here at Madigan Field in Stanfield tomorrow, Wednesday, May 24th at 4pm. The price of admissions is $6 for Adults and $4 for Students. Come out and support your Tigers!

Summer Job Opportunity - Looking for a summer job? A & W at Space Age is hiring, looking for students age 16 and older who have their own transportation. If you are interested, stop by A & W to apply.

Junior Information Night - Juniors: we are hosting a Junior Information Night for you and your parents on Tuesday, May 30th, 7 PM in our cafeteria. Come learn about how to have a successful senior year, planning for after graduation, FAFSA and financial aid, scholarships, and more.

GEAR UP Student Leadership Camp - Students in grades 8-11: there are 5 spots available to Stanfield students to participate in a Summer Leadership Camp at the Oregon State University Cascades campus in Bend from August 7-10. You will get to stay in the dorms and participate in leadership activities, and it is FREE! The deadline to register is May 31st. See Mrs. Wright to register.

Pendleton Fire Dept. Resident Intern Program - Seniors: the Pendleton Fire & Ambulance Service is currently looking for graduates to be part of the Pendleton Fire Department Resident Intern Program, which would include free housing at the Fire Station and half of college tuition paid at BMCC. If you are interested in this opportunity, applications are available in the scholarship rack.

Lunch Charges - we will not allow lunch Charging to Continue after May 15th if you have charges they need to be paid see Mrs. Gabriel

Seniors! - A reminder about your fees. If you do not pay your fees you will not get your diploma until they are paid for. Josten's have delivered your Cap and Gown, please see Mrs. Griffin to pick them up.

Senior Deadline - Seniors! Remember that THIS Thursday is the senior deadline. If you want to walk in commencement, all graduation requirements need to be completed by Thursday.

Summer School - We will be offering a summer school here at SSS from June 12-30, with the goal of credit recovery. If you have unfinished Acellus work or need to make up a class, it is important for you to attend to be on track for next year. Participation forms are available in Mrs. Wright's office.

National Honor Society - National Honor Society will have a quick meeting TOMORROW during advisory to talk about our visit to the animal shelter this Friday, as well as next week's awards night. See you there!

Basketball Girls - I would like to have a quick girls' basketball meeting for 6-11 grade girls interested in playing basketball this summer. Meeting will happen after announcements in the gym. Should take 5 minutes.

Summer Opportunities at BMCC - BMCC is offering two programs this summer. One is an Academic Enrichment Program for students who will be 9th or 10th graders this coming fall. Another is a Summer Bridge Program for graduating seniors who plan to attend BMCC in the fall. See Mrs. Wright for more info and application forms.

Volleyball Meeting - There is a volleyball meeting for those who are planning to play volleyball next year in the cafeteria during Advisory.

Baccalaureate Mass - Seniors - the Catholic Church in Hermiston is holding a Baccalaureate Mass at 11 AM on Sunday, May 28, the morning of graduation. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP with the Church at 541-567-5812. Wear your cap and gown to the Mass.

Outdoor School Counselor - Outdoor school counselor applications are due today. Please turn in your applications today by end of day.

P.E.O. Scholarships - Senior girls - the P.E.O. scholarship deadline is today. If you haven't yet mailed it, you can drop it off with Mrs. Wright by the end of the day.

Generation College Meeting - Generation College will meet today after announcements. See you there!
