On June 6, 2020, Stanfield Secondary School proudly graduated 42 students in a unique ceremony held at Horyna Sports Complex in Stanfield.  Graduates, staff, and family participated from their cars as COVID-19 social distancing guidelines made a traditional ceremony impossible.  Class President, Rebecca Reynolds, gave the welcome address in English followed by the welcome address in Spanish by Rafael Orozco.  Salutatorian, Mackenzie Cook, offered advice to her classmates in a speech.  Valedictorian, Kaitlyn Lemmon, spoke next of memories and good times she had through her years of school with her class.  Students got out of their cars and walked in front of a podium where they received their diploma and walked back around to their cars.  While this is certainly not the ceremony that any of our graduates imagined, it was an unforgettable ceremony that honored their achievements and their collective presence in our school district.  We are so proud of our Stanfield Tiger graduates and wish them all success and good fortune in their future endeavors.
