Attention MS Students! The snow is melting; the sun is shining. It’s almost spring. Let’s put a spring in your step and join the Stanfield Middle School track team. We are starting to put together our track team for spring 2022. If you are interested in going out for track, please let Mr. Bailey know ASAP, so we can put together a track roster. Tentatively, we our wanting to start our season March 14, 2022. Come one, come all to a fun opportunity to learn about track and get some fresh air. We’re looking forward to hearing from you. This week is Classified School Employee Appreciation week! It takes many people to make our school district the great place it is! Custodians and grounds, maintenance, bus drivers, instructional assistants, food service employees, library media staff and secretaries all keep our school going. We hope you will join us in celebrating and thanking our amazing Classified School staff! Our staff is simply the BEST!

Stanfield students and parents: Our SSS girls' basketball team beat Vernonia this weekend to earn a spot in the quarterfinals of the state tournament! They will play Thursday at 1:30pm in Pendleton at the Convention Center against Salem Academy. We will be releasing students at 11:30am on Thursday, March 3rd. This will allow students, staff and community to turn out and support our lady Tigers. As part of the requirement to continue to access federal funds in the American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER), districts must update their Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan every 6 months. We have made adjustments based on updated guidance and permanent rules now in place. We are soliciting stakeholder feedback on the draft of the updated plan.
